Will food and beverages be provided for my event?

We are happy to provide alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as continental-style snacks and hors d’oeuvres. Alcoholic beverages must be provided by the Inn. For more substantial culinary needs, we will gladly either recommend a local caterer or work with the caterer of your choice. All food may be prepped on site in our full commercial kitchen.

Does the Inn provide tables, linens and dishware?

We are pleased to provide tables, chairs, linens, silverware, glassware and china, as well as set up and take down service for a fee dependent on the size of the event. If you or the caterer prefers, they can bring their own seating and dishware.

Can I have amplified music at my event?

You can have amplified music in the Brodie Duke Hall. However, out of respect for the Inn’s guests we ask that all amplified music be turned off by 6:00pm. This time restriction may be waived if your group has reserved the three two room suites located directly above the hall (The Austin Suite, The Markham Suite and The Lathrop-Moorhead Suite).

Is valet parking available for events?

Yes, in fact it’s highly recommended for groups greater than 25 and required for groups greater than 40. For smaller groups, we have a 13-space private parking lot as well as on-street parking around the building and ample overflow parking one block away.

Can you arrange a shuttle service for my guests?

We will gladly help coordinate group transportation to and from your event.

Will there be other guests at the Inn during my event?

The King’s Daughters Inn is a full service Bed & Breakfast with three meeting spaces so it’s likely that there will be other guests on the premises. Please contact us if you would be interested in reserving the entire Inn for a private event at a reduced rate.

Can my guests spend the night at the Inn?

Absolutely! In fact, we offer discounts for multiple-room purchases. The King’s Daughters Inn has 17 rooms and suites in a wide range of styles from classic 1920s to Art Deco. Each room is distinct, featuring a full slate of amenities sure to provide your guests with a delightful experience.
