In April of 2012, Kirsten and Terence came to tour the Inn. They were absolutely adorable and smartly dressed, so I knew this wedding was going to be gorgeous! I also loved that they mentioned their love for Inkspot Crow‘s wedding documentaries won them over! Check one out here.
Kirsten and Terence exchanged vows on an early December evening at the Inn. They met in Durham and found it only appropriate to celebrate in the town that gave them each other. With the help of family, friends and well-versed vendors, their wedding and reception was impeccable.

The evening began with the melodic sounds of the Virtuoso Strings as guests seated themselves for the the ceremony in the parlor. As the couple said “I do”, Extravagant Fare prepared a delicious meal of melt in your mouth short ribs accompanied by veggies and buttery mashed potatoes. The atmosphere of the Inn felt ethereal, with loved and classic arrangements and bouquets by the Watered Garden that accented the charcoal linens the bride special ordered from DeeJay’s Event Rentals.

As the evening continued, Daisy Cakes provided giant cupcakes in place of a traditional cake and guests were invited to dance the night away in Brodie Duke Hall.

To conclude the evening, guests bid the couple “adieu” with a sparkling exit. But, don’t worry, the bride and groom went back to the party to enjoy the remainder of the evening and stay for the night.

They were an absolute pleasure to work with along side Aunt Pam that was the best wedding assistant a bride (or niece) could ask for!
