It is easy to see why autumn has such a special place in so many people’s hearts. Crisp weather, the vibrant changing leaves, and so many phenomenal fall foods. Our most recent fall wedding, Christina and Erik, celebrated the season here at The Inn with lots of wonderful fall comfort foods: hot cinnamon apple cider, Q Shack barbecue, and an amazing variety of fall pies!

This had the staff at the Inn talking about of favorite Thanksgiving treats and traditions! We naturally couldn’t agree on one pie being the favorite. Our Innkeeper’s Colin and Deanna couldn’t settle the classic fruit vs. custard pie debate with their favorites being Cranberry Apple and Chess Pie respectively. From our fabulous housekeeping staff we had Candis choosing a traditional pecan pie while Julia picked a non-traditional coconut. Our General Manager Wayne loves classic, simple pumpkin pie and Deanna’s Mom Denel went decadent with Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie. The one thing everyone can agree on is that we are thankful that everyone can have their favorite on Thanksgiving!
